Just finished reading the book. It is a very powerful story! So encouraging to hear how God was at work in her life and how she was able to break through the fear and shame to live a victorious hope filled life. it is written as first hand account at a fast pace that makes it hard to put down. I recommend her story for anyone who needs to know that difficult lives can have happy endings and that God is faithful!

Lisare tells her life story in an easy to read style and touches on issues relevant to many of us today.
A lot can be gleaned from a person who has " been there, done that" ! What's more she offers hope and solutions to all who read her book.
Solutions to abuse, fearfulness, unresolved hurts and issues, depression, despair,loneliness,addiction, anger, divorce, bitterness, resentment, shame, judgment can all be found here. She recognized her own negative thoughts and grumbling attitudes were only fueling the fires of destruction so she fought for real answers. She found herself focusing on her own faults and that doing so was only making matters worse. There were no answers to be found in running away or not addressing issues directly. She explains why.
She found that she could not trust her own life experiences and relationships and the assumptions she had drawn from them. She was on a journey of discovery. A discovery of her real identity. An identity that has value !
After finding that true identity she has found peace and joy that now permeates her daily life. She has learned to trust and now devotes a good portion of her newfound freedom to helping others. Through all of her struggles and opposition she has overcome! Through all of these trials her long term friend, Stacey, declares that she knows "her heart is pure". Wow ! This lady is truly an overcomer who has found personal victory despite the overwhelming odds.

What an incredible journey. It never ceases to amaze me what God can do in people's lives. This is quite a testimony and very uplifting. I admire the author for having the guts to write it. Bless you, as I know this book will bless many.
